Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026 · Applies to the tested.dev marketing site

What this covers

This policy describes how the marketing site at tested.dev collects and uses information. The product application at app.tested.dev (including GitHub App installation, repo data, and account auth) is a separate product with its own terms and data practices.

Email collection

If you subscribe via the on-site form, we collect your email address and optional metadata (e.g. a form source label and standard UTM campaign parameters when present).

  • Purpose: occasional product updates about tested.dev. Not a primary waitlist or sales outreach list.
  • Processor: emails are stored via Resend (audience / contacts API). Delivery and list management are handled by Resend under their terms.
  • Retention: we keep your address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can opt out via unsubscribe links in emails or by contacting us.
  • Legal basis (where applicable): your consent by submitting the form.

Analytics

We use PostHog on this marketing site to understand aggregate traffic and product interest (page views and related product analytics). Requests are reverse-proxied through our domain. We do not use analytics for advertising. We do not sell personal data.

What we do not sell

We do not sell your email address or other personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Service providers (e.g. Resend, hosting) process data only to operate the site and send the updates you requested.

Product / GitHub data

Data processed by the tested.dev application (GitHub repositories, coverage artifacts, checks, account identity) is notgoverned solely by this marketing-site notice. That processing happens under the product's own terms and privacy documentation when you sign in or install the GitHub App.

Security

Transport is HTTPS. The subscribe endpoint is rate-limited and validates input. No method is perfect; report concerns to the contact below.
